Role Overview
The Onboarding Analyst will support the Clinical Operations team by overseeing the experience of newly hired physicians. You will be the first point of contact throughout onboarding, helping ensure the process is smooth, tailored, and well-coordinated from contract execution through the physician’s first case reading. The role blends relationship management, operational support, and data analysis to make onboarding more efficient and predictable.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for physicians during onboarding, setting clear expectations and guiding them through each stage.
- Handle questions related to scheduling, benefits, equipment, and reading preferences, while coordinating with internal teams and sharing updates in a timely manner.
- Keep physicians informed proactively about progress, milestones, and next steps.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving the onboarding workflow.
- Review and analyze data to uncover delays and shorten ramp-up timelines.
- Create data-informed models to improve start-date forecasting and resource planning.
- Track onboarding status in real time and manage task movement across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree along with experience in operations, client success, analytics, consulting, or research.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A strong service mindset with a focus on delivering a high-quality onboarding experience.
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple physicians and concurrent workflows.
- Comfort using data analysis to monitor progress and solve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects in a fast-moving environment.
- Prior healthcare exposure is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
- Must be able to work remotely.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay for this role is in the range of $60,000 to $75,000, along with benefits. Final compensation may vary depending on qualifications, skills, and location.
