Role Overview

As a Lead GSOC Analyst based in Cork, Ireland, you will be an essential part of the client’s Global Security Operations Centre. This role operates on a 24/7/365 basis, focusing on continuous monitoring, event security, and travel management support. It demands advanced experience and includes supervisory responsibilities, ensuring the highest standards of client security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold Pinkerton’s core principles of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all duties.
  • Operate within the GSOC following required shift patterns to maintain constant coverage.
  • Deliver superior security services to client locations and personnel, prioritizing the protection of staff, assets, and sensitive information.
  • Monitor and interpret real-time security alarms, alerts, and surveillance feeds to identify potential security issues.
  • Execute advanced security event monitoring and respond promptly to incidents consistent with established SOPs.
  • Coordinate and manage travel risk assessments, providing timely alerts and support for employee journeys.
  • Supervise access control procedures ensuring only authorized individuals gain entry to restricted areas.
  • Keep comprehensive records of all monitored events, incident responses, and related activities.
  • Assist in compiling detailed reports analyzing GSOC operations and recommending improvements.
  • Act as backup for the GSOC Supervisor during off-hours to facilitate uninterrupted leadership and coverage.
  • Collaborate with security teams, emergency responders, and other partners to handle incidents effectively.
  • Lead and mentor Junior GSOC Analysts to strengthen team performance and expertise.
  • Engage in ongoing training to remain abreast of emerging security technologies and best practices.
  • Support the GSOC Manager with strategic tasks and responsibilities, demonstrating leadership acumen.
  • Maintain constant situational awareness within the monitored environment to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Adopt a proactive and conscientious approach to achieve excellence in operational standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in security operations, preferably with exposure to advanced monitoring and incident management.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are advantageous, or equivalent education and experience acknowledged.
  • Outstanding communication, coordination, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to remain composed and make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Competent in preparing clear, concise verbal and written reports with minimal supervision.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Effective team leadership and independent judgment for decision-making.
  • Customer-focused and driven to achieve results.
  • Capable of multitasking and managing workload efficiently for timely execution.

Working Conditions
