Ecommerce Manager

Role overview

Bones Coffee Company is looking for an experienced, detail-focused Ecommerce Manager for DTC growth. This role centers on managing and improving day-to-day performance marketing and customer lifecycle initiatives to strengthen revenue, marketing efficiency, and overall growth in the CPG and ecommerce space. The position calls for hands-on experience with subscription-led businesses, site merchandising, digital media, and email/SMS marketing, along with a strong data-first approach. You’ll collaborate with teams across the business to help move growth initiatives forward.

Key responsibilities

• Run acquisition, conversion, and retention efforts across both paid and owned channels.
• Oversee the execution of paid media activity on Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and newer advertising platforms.
• Review performance using metrics such as MER, CAC, ROAS, AOV, LTV, CVR, and churn, then recommend improvements based on the data.
• Assist with lifecycle marketing through email and SMS, including automation and retention planning.
• Contribute to the expansion and optimization of subscription and loyalty programs to drive repeat revenue and stronger customer engagement.
• Work closely with creative, product, finance, operations, and agency partners.
• Build testing plans and reporting dashboards that improve campaign results and tracking.

Experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of experience in DTC or ecommerce marketing, with a solid background in paid media and lifecycle marketing for subscription-based businesses. Experience using GA4, Excel or Google Sheets, and analytics tools such as Triple Whale or Northbeam is important, as is familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem. Strong analytical ability, organization, and communication skills are essential. A collaborative style, curiosity for experimentation, and a commitment to continuous improvement are also important. The role may require travel of up to 15%.
