Role overview
This position reports to the Product and Customer Center of Excellence Lead and sits within the Product Team in Doha, working for East West Digital. The role is built for a digitally fluent creative professional who can turn complex AI-driven B2B energy product information into clear, compelling visual content.
Unlike a purely static design role, this job blends visual design, video creation, motion graphics, photography, and social content strategy. The goal is to convert technical product detail into engaging audiovisual assets that speak to busy B2B decision-makers and help simplify the value proposition across digital channels.
Core focus
You will act as the brand’s visual storyteller and content translator, shaping dense technical material into high-impact media that performs well on social platforms and supports product communication. The role also includes helping the company present itself credibly and creatively as a modern, innovation-led business.
Responsibilities
- Work with product teams to break down complex energy concepts and turn them into straightforward, persuasive visual stories.
- Convert white papers and product specifications into short-form social assets, explainer videos, infographics, and engaging presentations.
- Lead video production end to end, including concept development, scripting, storyboarding, filming interviews or product demos, editing, motion design, and final delivery.
- Create animated content that communicates workflows, processes, and technical energy solutions in an easy-to-follow format.
- Produce professional photography for products, events, and employer branding needs.
- Design visual content strategies for B2B channels, especially LinkedIn, Twitter, and similar industry platforms.
- Support community management by monitoring social channels, encouraging interaction through visual content, and responding in a polished brand voice.
- Keep up with new digital formats, content tools, and creative trends, including the responsible use of AI-assisted creative tools.
- Partner closely with product, marketing, and leadership teams to explain offerings in a way that is clear, credible, and engaging.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, Integrated Marketing, Graphic Design, or a closely related field.
- A strong portfolio is more important than formal education and should show integrated work across video, digital, and social campaigns.
- Certification in video production, social media marketing, or motion graphics is considered an advantage.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a role that combines design, video, and digital content creation.
- Portfolio evidence of explainer videos, motion graphics, social carousels, photography, and end-to-end digital campaign work.
- Experience managing corporate social media presence and building engagement through visual content.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI-based creative tools and practical use of them in content workflows.
- Background in startups, technology companies, or innovation-focused environments is preferred.
- Ability to make complex or traditionally dull topics feel interesting while staying accurate and credible.
- Comfort working in fast-moving environments with changing priorities.
