About the role
This remote internship is with a confidential startup operating in stealth mode. The team is looking for a curious, detail-focused data analytics intern who can help uncover insights, create dashboards, and support decisions using data in a fast-moving, high-impact setting.
What you'll do
- Gather, prepare, and study both structured and unstructured datasets.
- Run exploratory analysis to spot trends, patterns, and useful observations.
- Develop and update dashboards and reports that support business understanding.
- Use SQL to pull, filter, and transform data efficiently.
- Support the definition of KPIs and other performance measures.
- Work alongside product, marketing, and business stakeholders.
- Turn analysis into clear, practical recommendations.
Who we're looking for
- Students currently enrolled in, or candidates who have recently completed, a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic working knowledge of SQL.
- Some exposure to Python, especially Pandas and NumPy, or similar analytics tools.
- Understanding of visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred background
- Hands-on exposure to real datasets or analytics projects.
- Awareness of business metrics and how performance is tracked.
- Some familiarity with A/B testing or statistical methods.
- Experience in startup or fast-paced work environments is a plus.
