With more than 21 years in operation and 175+ restaurants, Grill’d is looking for Assistant Restaurant Managers who bring energy, support a people-first culture, and enjoy working in an environment that is purposeful, fast-moving, and fun. In this role, you will help create memorable experiences for team members, guests, and the wider community while building your own career.

What the role involves

• Work with the Restaurant Manager to guide, encourage, and energise the team.
• Take an active, hands-on role across the restaurant, from the kitchen area to the customer floor, to keep shifts running smoothly.
• Help deliver consistently high-quality guest experiences and uphold strong service standards.
• Support team performance, hit operational goals, and recognise achievements as a group.
• Coach team members so they can improve their skills and grow across different stations.
• Maintain strong standards across safety, quality, and day-to-day operations.

Training and growth

Your journey starts with an 8-week structured onboarding program that includes leadership workshops and practical training designed to help you settle in quickly. Grill’d also offers multiple career directions, including progression toward Area Manager or Restaurant Manager roles, opportunities in the Support Office, and pathways into restaurant ownership through the Grill’d Partner or Joint Venture Program.
