Job description
Position Overview
Based in Doha, Qatar, this full-time role at Nestlé Qatar centers on driving sales growth by category within assigned customers, establishing and nurturing long-term relationships, and ensuring sound financial health for the accounts under management.
Daily Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for achieving territory sales volume targets by category.
- Secure core product distribution by ensuring new SKU listings, target success visuals, and visibility metrics as per Business Development Agreement standards.
- Build robust relationships with customers and lead contract negotiations covering topics such as visibility, shelf space, promotions, and implementation plans.
- Conduct daily field visits to stores within the territory to verify product availability.
- Keep sales management informed through market reports including sales analysis, implementation status of monthly initiatives, competitor activities, product launches, and customer plans.
- Develop and sustain effective, long-term business relationships with customers.
- Oversee the correct and efficient execution of promotional plans in assigned stores.
- Ensure product availability on shelves aligns with core distribution by coordinating with merchandisers and conducting store follow-ups.
- Maintain proper product handling and shelf condition following Nestlé policies.
- Audit shelves and warehouse stock regularly, managing stock rotation and addressing short expiry product issues in compliance with company guidelines.
- Manage financial aspects including collections and reconciliation following Nestlé's payment terms.
- Supervise merchandiser activities and provide feedback regarding stock management, shelf placement, secondary placements, and promotional displays.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity documentation, and required reports.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Have at least 2 years of relevant experience as a Key Account Manager working with diverse customers.
- Proven track record of success in previous account management roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage and negotiate customer relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to coach others.
- Good analytical abilities to assess sales data and market trends.
