About the Role

This position is for an experienced warehouse supervisor who can contribute to day-to-day warehouse and yard activity. The role involves guiding a small team, supporting warehouse workflows, and making sure loads move through the busy transport yard in a timely and controlled way.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a small warehouse team on a day-to-day basis.
• Support smooth and efficient yard operations.
• Handle trailer loading and unloading, ensure load restraint is correctly applied, and confirm all related paperwork is accurate.
• Secure loads properly using suitable restraint methods.
• Maintain a safe immediate work area by keeping it clear of hazards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Background working in a busy transport yard.
• Prior experience supervising or managing a team.
• Strong verbal communication and people skills.
• Current driver's licence and access to transport.
• Experience operating a high reach forklift.
• LF licence for 2.5 tonne or above is considered an advantage.
• Experience with invoicing would be viewed favourably.
