About the Role
Auscool Logistics is expanding its cold storage warehousing operations and supports a major food manufacturer with high-quality service delivery. The business is looking for an experienced administrative assistant to join the Ormeau facility in Brisbane on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer-related tasks accurately and within required timelines to help support revenue processes.
- Carry out a broad range of administrative duties such as purchase order processing, inventory support, export and import paperwork, transport log coordination, detailed data entry, and reporting on delivery or collection differences.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through professional and positive communication.
- Improve day-to-day efficiency by applying organised and effective administrative practices.
- Follow food safety, quality, and legal obligations while working in line with company policies and accepted standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or a comparable role is necessary, with warehouse or industry-related exposure considered an advantage.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience is required.
- Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to influence outcomes positively for customers and internal stakeholders.
- High accuracy and close attention to detail for data entry and administrative work.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction.
- Good organisational ability and time management to prioritise work effectively.
- Comfort using IT systems, including Microsoft Office, WMS, and TMS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems is required.
- Hands-on experience with transport management systems is required.
