Role overview

No5 Dining Lounge is looking for an experienced, reliable waiter or waitress to support service in its London dining space. The role focuses on delivering a welcoming experience to guests and keeping service running smoothly throughout each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, provide menus, and explain available drink choices.
• Record customer orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and efficiently.
• Keep tables properly arranged and maintained during service.
• Address guest questions and concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Suggest menu items and highlight specials when suitable.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff so orders are prepared correctly and to guest preferences.
• Process payments, including credit card transactions.
• Keep the service area tidy, clean, and well organized.

Requirements

• Prior waiter or waitress experience in a busy restaurant setting.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Comfort working efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the U.K.
