Role overview
BBE Marketing Inc. builds digital products that help companies connect with celebrities and influencers. They are hiring a Virtual Assistant to support day-to-day operations across administration, research, customer support, and project coordination. The position plays an important part in keeping work organized and making sure projects move forward on time.
Core duties
- Monitor news and industry developments related to the business, then share important updates with the team in Slack without delay.
- Review writers’ output for quality, factual accuracy, and originality, and offer clear feedback where improvements are needed.
- Respond to customer questions in a timely, courteous, and helpful manner to maintain a strong client experience.
- Keep customer requests and follow-up actions well organized so nothing is missed or delayed.
- Process customer refunds and manage chargeback-related tasks.
- Support project tracking by following task progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Flag risks, bottlenecks, or missed milestones early and alert management so issues can be resolved quickly.
- Work closely with teammates and other stakeholders to keep communication and coordination effective throughout each project.
- Handle routine administrative work such as data entry, meeting coordination, report preparation, and document upkeep.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Experience with Mailchimp is an added advantage.
- WordPress knowledge is an added advantage.
- Experience using Asana is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
Schedule and work setup
This is a full-time remote role. The work schedule includes an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with on-call availability and weekends as needed.
Pay and benefits
Compensation starts at $10 per hour. A flexible schedule is offered as a benefit.
