Role overview
Allied Vehicles, Fix Auto Wigan are looking for a Valeter to join their award-winning team in Greater Manchester. What the job involves
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring repaired vehicles are processed and delivered in a clean, presentable condition. The role also involves following job instructions carefully, keeping records up to date, and maintaining safe and suitable working practices while using cleaning products and equipment.
Working hours and pay
This is a Monday to Friday role, working from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The pay is £13.45 per hour.

Main responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles to company standards using the correct cleaning materials and methods.
- Review the job card or estimate to understand the required work.
- Accurately complete all required company paperwork and records.
- Inform the supervisor about any vehicle defects or issues discovered.
- Clean interiors, including upholstery and carpets, whenever needed.
- Keep company tools and equipment in safe, clean, and usable condition.
- Follow all legal requirements relating to hazardous substances and organic solvent controls.
What you need
- Awareness of safe working methods, including the correct use of cleaning materials.
- Good organisational and planning ability.
- Previous experience handling and cleaning vehicles, including driving them.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
