Role Overview
This on-site role in Chennai focuses on handling shipment movement, delivery execution, pickup coordination, and basic tracking/data entry work across the delivery cycle.
Key Duties
- Remove bags from the vehicle and scan each shipment received.
- Outscan parcels according to the assigned delivery route.
- Deliver packages to the correct addresses and collect customer acknowledgements.
- Mark undelivered consignments with the appropriate status.
- Return undelivered items and any collected COD amount to the supervisor on the same day.
- Visit customers for pickups within the designated cut-off time.
- Where serviceable, count the shipments and obtain customer acknowledgement based on the quantity picked up.
- After returning to the office, in-scan the shipments, enter the details into the system, and manage onward movement/transfer of consignments.
