Role Overview
Lamprell is hiring an experienced Storeman to support warehouse and materials control activities in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The role is suited to someone who has worked in demanding project environments and can manage day-to-day store operations with accuracy and discipline.
Core Experience
- Applicants should have 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in sectors such as Oil & Gas, EPC, Renewable Energy, shipbuilding, fabrication yards, or heavy construction.
- Previous exposure to UAE or GCC operations will be viewed favourably, especially in large-scale, project-driven warehouse settings.
Warehouse Operations
- Carry out receiving, storage, issuing, transferring, inventory checks, and stock verification for materials.
- Maintain proper handling of warehouse transactions and support efficient material flow across the site.
- Work confidently with structural, piping, mechanical, and electrical/instrumentation materials.
Systems and Material Control
- Use Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) effectively to complete receiving, transfer, and issuance activities without close supervision.
- Apply correct material identification methods, including labelling, traceability, and preservation practices.
Additional Preference
Priority may be given to candidates who have worked in the UAE or wider GCC region and have handled warehouse operations for major projects.
