What you will do

As a Delivery Expert, you will be responsible for getting pizzas to customers quickly and in good condition while representing the brand professionally. Strong communication, a positive attitude, punctuality, and a strong sense of urgency are central to success in this role.

• Use navigational ability to find addresses within the delivery zone, including homes, multi-level buildings, and other sites with varied terrain.
• Handle incoming phone orders efficiently to help ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction.
• Take on inventory-related tasks, move ingredients and supplies between delivery, storage, work areas, and coolers, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Work independently and alongside others while managing repetitive tasks, pressure, quality expectations, and coordination with customers and coworkers.
• Perform accurate basic math for order handling and cash transactions, including making correct change.
• Use workplace equipment and interfaces such as a computer keyboard, touch screen, and foot pedal.

Physical and work requirements

This job is mostly carried out while standing, so you should be prepared to stay on your feet for most of the shift. The work environment can include tile and linoleum flooring, and work surfaces are typically between 36" and 4" high.

Team members may receive bulk deliveries two to three times each week and be expected to unload items. Ingredients and supplies can weigh up to 50 pounds and may need to be lifted or stacked. Some tasks may also involve crouching, squatting, stooping, bending, or using stairs. The role also calls for hand-eye coordination when shaping dough, using a pizza peel and cutter, and folding boxes.

Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and have a minimum of 1 year of driving history. An insured vehicle available for delivery use is required. Candidates must also clear a criminal background check and meet company standards on the motor vehicle record check.
