Senior Associate - Assurance & External Audit

Role Overview

This opportunity is with a respected professional services firm with a strong footprint across the GCC. The business works with multinational companies, listed organisations, government-related entities, and fast-growing private sector clients. The team is expanding its Assurance practice and is looking for a technically strong Senior Associate to support external audit work in the Middle East.

What You Will Do

• Handle external audit assignments end to end across a wide mix of industries.
• Partner with Managers and Partners on more complex client engagements.
• Examine financial statements and confirm adherence to IFRS and applicable regulatory standards.
• Guide, support, and coach junior team members.
• Strengthen client relationships while working with regional and international businesses.

Required Background

• At least 3 years of external audit experience gained in a Big Four, top-tier, or similarly recognised accounting firm.
• A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, or an equivalent credential.
• Solid working knowledge of IFRS and external audit procedures.
• Experience managing audit sections and overseeing junior staff.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-handling ability.
• Open to relocating to the Middle East.
