Role overview
The client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a remote engagement across Australia for a contract term of 6+ months. Experience in the telecom sector is preferred.
What you will do
As a Scrum Master, you will champion Agile values and help teams adopt practical Agile ways of working. You will work closely with a broad set of stakeholders, coach customer teams, and guide them in using Agile tools, methods, and practices in their everyday work.
You will set an example that encourages teams to stay motivated, deliver with quality, and improve continuously. The role also involves supporting technical program and project management efforts while applying an understanding of agility to help teams succeed.
Core focus areas
- Coach teams on Agile principles and support the effective running of Agile ceremonies.
- Help embed Agile practices that improve overall team performance.
- Build strong working relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly and influence outcomes across different teams.
- Motivate, mentor, and empower teams to deliver strong results.
- Support delivery, remove blockers, and contribute to process improvements.
- Use analytical thinking and data to evaluate progress and guide better decisions.
Additional information
Location is anywhere in Australia, with fully remote working arrangements. The engagement is a 6+ month contract. Telecom domain experience is preferred.
