Scaffolder

Job Summary

Mobco Group is hiring experienced Scaffolders for a large-scale high-rise construction assignment in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role calls for hands-on expertise in assembling, altering, checking, and taking down scaffolding in line with project specifications, safety rules, and industry requirements.

Selected candidates will be responsible for creating safe access routes and secure working platforms for construction teams throughout different stages of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and remove scaffold structures according to approved plans and safe work practices.
• Examine scaffolding parts before use to verify that they meet required quality and safety standards.
• Confirm that scaffold systems remain stable, properly secured, and fit for their intended purpose.
• Fit working decks, guardrails, toe boards, ladders, and other access solutions.
• Perform regular checks and promptly report any damage, defects, or hazardous conditions.
• Adhere to all site safety rules, permit conditions, and task instructions.
• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and safety staff to support ongoing construction work.
• Look after scaffolding materials and ensure they are stored and handled correctly.
• Help with loading, unloading, and moving scaffold materials when needed.
• Maintain compliance with project HSE standards and recognized international scaffolding practices.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or an equivalent level of education.
• At least 5 years of experience working as a scaffolder in construction.
• Prior experience on high-rise building projects is required.
• Working knowledge of tube-and-fitting scaffolds, system scaffolds, and access platforms.
• Ability to understand basic scaffolding drawings and job instructions.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work safely at height.

Mandatory Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of scaffolding experience is necessary.
• Experience on high-rise construction projects is compulsory.
• Knowledge of scaffold safety rules and established best practices is expected.
• Possession of a valid scaffolding certification is an advantage.
• Candidates who can join immediately are strongly preferred.
