About the Company
Team Global Express NZ provides freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and broad logistics support to customers throughout New Zealand, from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
About the Opportunity
Ongoing growth in freight volumes has created a new opening for a Pallet Coordinator to join the Auckland team in Favona.
The working schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Role Overview
This position is focused on managing pallet activity across branches, keeping movement records accurate and complete, and working to reduce rental expenses wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor pallet movements and related processes across the network.
- Maintain precise records of all pallet transfers and branch-level activity.
- Work in line with health and safety standards at all times.
- Handle pallet account administration.
- Support training, process development, and compliance related to pallet operations.
- Deliver a strong customer service experience.
- Ensure records are entered promptly and accurately.
- Track equipment movement patterns and identify opportunities for improvement.
What You Need to Succeed
To do well in this role, you should communicate clearly and build positive working relationships with ease.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transport or logistics.
- A tertiary qualification in transport or logistics is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Background in pallet tracking is preferred but not essential.
- Solid understanding of computer systems and information technology.
- Practical experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Exposure to 2IC pallet software is preferred, but not required.
- Strong analytical ability and confidence in interpreting data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships.
- A positive, solution-focused attitude with resilience and flexibility.
- Strong time management skills.
