About the Company

Role Overview
This opening is for a Quantity Surveyor on the Al-Jurf project. The position is centered on commercial control, precise measurement, cost monitoring, and documentation across all phases of construction. The scope covers villa compounds as well as mid- to high-rise building packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure completed site work and keep measurement records current throughout the project.
- Prepare, revise, and maintain bills of quantities, cost plans, and quantity benchmarks.
- Assist with monthly valuations, subcontractor payment submissions, and client interim payment certificate documentation.
- Spot inconsistencies between drawings and site scope, then work with engineering and site teams to close out the issues quickly.
- Monitor variations and claims, keep change registers updated, and coordinate with procurement and site teams on quantities, materials, and cost effects.
- Maintain well-organized project records, logs, and correspondence to support strong documentation control.
- Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor with commercial reporting, cost forecasting, and accurate data management across active works.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering; a Sri Lankan degree is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with 7 to 10 years considered the target range.
- Strong ability in measurement and quantity take-off.
- Confident use of MS Excel and quantity surveying software.
- Working familiarity with FIDIC, especially provisions related to payments, variations, and claims.
- Sound understanding of cost control methods and documentation practices.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good coordination and communication skills when working with site, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Ability to keep records organized and ready for audit review.
- Abu Dhabi Municipality certification is needed if applicable.
