Role Overview

Hex Trust is looking for a Quantitative Trader with strong expertise in proprietary strategies and trading infrastructure. The position calls for someone comfortable operating in fast-moving crypto markets, executing trades carefully, and contributing directly to the firm’s trading goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out client trade execution with a focus on best execution, reduced market impact, and confidentiality.
• Design and apply quantitative strategies that support client objectives and market opportunities.
• Study market behavior and liquidity patterns to guide proprietary and client-oriented trading choices.
• Monitor trading exposure continuously and adjust risk in real time for the firm and its clients.
• Build algorithmic trading utilities that streamline and enhance execution workflows.
• Apply statistical methods to refine trading models and generate useful market insights.
• Maintain full alignment with regulatory obligations and internal compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, along with a strong grounding in trading algorithms.
• Demonstrated success in quantitative trading and client execution in crypto or comparable financial markets.
• Hands-on experience with low-level programming languages such as C++ and Rust, plus familiarity with blockchain technology.
• Strong analytical ability and the communication skills needed to explain complex ideas to different audiences.
• Excellent judgment in risk management and a structured approach to solving problems.
