Role Overview
Leminar Qatar is seeking a QA/QC Engineer with KAHRAMAA approval to support quality assurance and control across project execution in Doha.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, apply, and update the Project Quality Plan along with supporting quality procedures.
- Draft, examine, and maintain Inspection and Test Plans, checklists, and all related quality records.
- Carry out site checks and track construction work to confirm alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams on quality matters.
- Oversee testing and inspection activities and ensure documentation is properly maintained.
- Spot non-conformance issues and drive corrective as well as preventive actions.
- Support quality compliance from project mobilization through commissioning and final handover.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
- Valid ISO 9001 Quality Management System training certification is required.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in QA/QC engineering, ideally on large-scale projects.
- KAHRAMAA approval is mandatory.
- Candidates must be on the permanent payroll of the employer.
- Proven ability to create and implement Project Quality Plans.
- Practical site experience in inspection activities from project initiation through commissioning.
- Good knowledge of international standards and codes, including BS, ASTM, ACI, ANSI, API, ASME, and other relevant national and international requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication, reporting, and coordination abilities.
