QA Automation Developer

Role Summary

We’re looking for a QA Automation Developer who is meticulous, quality-focused, and comfortable working across web and mobile products, automated workflows, and WhatsApp-driven solutions. The role is centered on making sure applications behave reliably, perform well, and meet release standards before they go live.

What You'll Do

• Build and run detailed test plans and test cases to cover product functionality thoroughly.
• Carry out both manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Check n8n workflows, automation logic, and third-party integrations for accuracy.
• Test WhatsApp chatbot journeys, automated message flows, and end-user interactions.
• Perform API and integration testing to confirm systems communicate correctly.
• Log, monitor, and retest defects until issues are resolved.
• Handle regression, functional, performance, and UAT testing activities.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to support quality delivery.
• Help define QA standards, testing procedures, and best practices.
• Verify that each release meets the required quality bar before deployment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of n8n-based automation workflows.
• Prior exposure to WhatsApp Business Platform testing.
• Ability to test APIs using Postman or a similar tool.
• Experience working with automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile ways of working.
• Strong written documentation and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or comparable frameworks.
• Background in security testing and performance testing.
• ISTQB certification is considered an added advantage.

Work Location

This is an on-site role based in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria.
