Role overview
A Tier 1 main building contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a major residential development in North Dublin comprising more than 800 apartments. The employer has a substantial project pipeline in the Dublin area and is entering one of its busiest periods to date. This opportunity is best suited to a PM who has previously delivered apartment developments.
Key responsibilities
- Take full ownership of project delivery from start to finish.
- Oversee every phase of the job, including specification development, procurement, design, construction, commissioning, and final handover.
- Coordinate and maintain working relationships with the design team, subcontractors, and utility providers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage communication and coordination with adjoining property owners, local neighbours, subcontractors, and representatives of the local authorities.
- Collaborate closely with internal commercial, finance, and technical teams.
- Ensure snagging, de-snagging, and lock-up procedures are properly managed for all internal fit-out works through to build completion.
Requirements
- A degree qualification is required.
- At least 5 years of experience as a project manager on large building projects in Ireland or the UK.
- Proven background delivering large-scale building projects for a main contractor.
- A minimum of 7 years of main contractor experience in the UK or Ireland.
Package
- Expected remuneration is approximately €100,000 to €120,000+, depending on experience.
- An excellent benefits package is included.
