Role Overview

JDS Energy & Mining is looking for a driven, organized Project Coordinator to help plan, organize, and deliver mining and infrastructure work at an operating mine site. This position is based on site and partners closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, Contractors, Operations teams, and other stakeholders to keep work moving safely, on time, and within budget.

In this role, you will contribute to project controls, on-the-ground coordination, contractor oversight, reporting, procurement, and construction support. Key Responsibilities

  • Help organize, plan, and carry out construction and infrastructure work at the site
  • Support Project Managers and Construction Managers with tracking scope, schedule, budget, and delivery goals

  • Join project risk reviews and help identify and reduce project risks
  • Support permitting, environmental, and regulatory compliance tasks when needed
  • Assist with commissioning, handover, and closeout activities
  • Build strong working relationships with operations teams to reduce disruptions and improve project integration
  • Make sure all activities align with company procedures, project goals, and safety expectations
