Role Summary
The PBM Data Analyst will support business growth by contributing to the client onboarding process. This position involves claims analysis, creation of operational deliverables, and support for member transition activities for clients, consultants, and benefit brokers. The role works closely with multiple internal teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently determine how to pull the right information from large datasets and turn it into ad hoc analysis with clear takeaways.
- Use historical claims information to build reports that support evaluation and risk assessment.
- Help prepare materials for operations teams that support a smooth member transition to SmithRx.
- Produce high-quality, client-ready outputs by reviewing work carefully and taking ownership of results.
- Perform in-depth investigations and analysis on large datasets and communicate the findings clearly.
- Work with internal stakeholders and outside partners through email, Slack, phone, and video meetings.
- Create ad hoc analyses to show other possible impacts of adopting SmithRx as a pharmacy benefit solution.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
- Background in software, employee benefits, or healthcare is advantageous.
- Strong analytical ability with a talent for turning data into practical insights.
- Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Looker, and Tableau.
- Strong project management capabilities and the ability to handle several priorities at once.
- Comfort working collaboratively and positively in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
