Overview
The National Institute of Education is seeking part-time lecturers for its Learning Sciences & Assessment (LSA) Department in Singapore. This role is centered on teaching support across NIE courses and programmes.
Role Summary
The lecturer will be responsible for delivering lectures, leading tutorials, and supervising practicum work. Engagement is arranged on a semester-by-semester basis.
Teaching Duties
- Prepare and conduct lectures for assigned modules.
- Facilitate tutorial sessions and support student learning.
- Oversee practicum supervision where required.
Requirements
- A master’s degree is expected for this position.
- Applicants should ideally have experience teaching NIE courses or programmes.
- Candidates without the stated academic background may still be considered if they bring strong industry experience and relevant demonstrated skills.
Terms and Conditions
Compensation is hourly and will follow the rate set for the relevant course or programme. The appointment runs on a semester basis, covering January to June and July to December. Only candidates selected for the next stage will be contacted.
