Role Overview
This position is responsible for leading operations across Rail and Air facilities within a defined cluster spanning the North and East zone. The role involves coordinating activity across several sites, making sure each location runs smoothly, consistently, and in line with service expectations.
What You’ll Do
You will oversee day-to-day workflows across multiple non-customer-facing hubs, with a strong focus on inventory control, team leadership, process efficiency, and quality assurance. The job calls for close coordination with delivery partners so that orders move through handoff points without delay. You will also monitor systems that support operations, react quickly to disruptions, manage resources effectively, and track performance against key metrics.
Another important part of the role is maintaining safety and compliance standards while identifying opportunities to improve processes. Successful improvements should be scalable across the entire cluster and support the broader goal of fast and accurate order fulfillment.
Work Pattern
This role follows a 5-day work week. However, because operations run 7 days a week, the two weekly off-days will change based on shift schedules and business requirements. The role also requires flexibility to work across shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience managing employees and performance.
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, or at least 2 years of Amazon blue badge/FTE experience.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, shift, or work area, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience using performance metrics, process improvement methods, or lean techniques.
