Role overview
Connacht Physio Clinic is inviting applications for a full-time MSK Physiotherapist to join its specialist practice in Galway. The clinic is based on the east side of Galway city and serves a varied patient base, supported by referrals from local GPs and consultants as well as direct self-referrals from the surrounding residential area.
What the role involves
The position focuses on treating a mixed caseload that includes spinal and peripheral musculoskeletal conditions, rehabilitation before and after surgery, and sports-related injuries. The successful applicant will work mainly with the principal physiotherapist and will have access to regular case discussions and on-site training, offering room for ongoing professional growth within a developing clinic.
Candidate profile
The clinic is seeking a physiotherapist with strong communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and a genuine interest in supporting patients across different age groups and backgrounds. Experience in private practice is considered an advantage. Salary will depend on the candidate's experience and will be discussed during the hiring process.
Essential requirements
- A BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy
- Current CORU registration
- Current ISCP registration
- Professional indemnity cover
- At least 2 years of experience in MSK physiotherapy
- Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written English
- Legal permission to work in Ireland
- Availability to attend an interview in person
Preferred experience
- Postgraduate qualification or MSc-level training in MSK or sports physiotherapy
- Postgraduate training in strength and conditioning
- Dry needling certification
