Built on more than ten years of compliance expertise and local market knowledge, the platform is designed to reduce risk, simplify regulatory complexity, and help businesses expand internationally with confidence.
At Pebl, every role is tied to measurable impact. Team members are expected to take ownership, deliver results, and work collaboratively across regions and disciplines to help the company grow quickly and responsibly.
Role Overview
Pebl is seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Product Designer to join its Product Design team. This position blends design systems leadership with hands-on product design work. You will guide the evolution of the design system while also applying it to solve real product challenges and improve user experiences.
The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with strong product judgment and a focus on building scalable, consistent, and high-quality experiences. In this role, you will help shape Pebl’s design approach, supporting a move toward an AI-led system and process while keeping the work grounded in practical product needs and user outcomes.
Impact You’ll Drive
- Lead the ownership and ongoing development of Pebl’s design system, including components, patterns, documentation, and governance.
- Help evolve the current process and code-based system into a more seamless AI-led toolkit.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and design partners to ensure the system is adopted, scalable, and aligned with real product use cases.
- Contribute directly to product design by extending the system to address end-to-end user needs.
- Spot design-system gaps through product work and convert them into reusable improvements and patterns.
- Promote consistency, accessibility, and quality across product experiences.
- Set standards for system usage, contribution practices, and design-to-development workflows.
- Lead initiatives that improve design speed, efficiency, and cross-functional alignment.
- Coach designers in both design systems thinking and product design craft.
- Influence product strategy by bringing a systems perspective to complex and ambiguous challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in product design, including meaningful involvement in ownership or development of design systems.
- A portfolio that shows both design systems work and end-to-end product design capability.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams to implement systems in code.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and scalable design methods.
- Ability to balance consistency and flexibility, knowing when to standardize and when to tailor.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Comfort working in fast-moving environments and handling ambiguity.
Benefits
- Flexible time off to rest and recharge when needed.
- Parental leave support for employees growing their families.
- Health and dental insurance, where applicable, for employees and eligible dependents.
- Retirement savings support plus an employee incentive plan.
