An established FMCG manufacturing business in Australia is hiring an Inventory Manager for its southern Perth operations. The position is central to keeping raw material stock accurate and ensuring materials move efficiently through a busy production environment.

This is a practical, hands-on inventory position with full ownership of raw materials control across a high-throughput production setup. Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily control of raw materials used in production.
• Carry out detailed cycle counts and keep stock records accurate across all bin locations.
• Examine inventory variances, determine the underlying causes, and assess write-off drivers.
• Use SAP and several other systems to maintain reliable and consistent data.
• Work closely with inbound materials and warehouse teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Prepare inventory reports and review findings to support operational decisions.

The ideal candidate is inquisitive, precise, and committed to doing the basics exceptionally well, even when the work is repetitive or methodical. You should be comfortable asking questions, solving problems, and working through complexity in a fast-moving production setting.

• Background in managing raw materials or bulk materials inventory.
