Role Overview

The HSE Document Controller will oversee the creation, tracking, distribution, storage, and upkeep of Health, Safety & Environment documentation across the full project lifecycle. The role focuses on keeping records complete, traceable, securely archived, and aligned with client expectations, project rules, and applicable regulatory standards.

Compensation

AED 3,500 to AED 4,500 per month.

Education & Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or an equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of or certification in electronic document management platforms such as Aconex, Documentum, SharePoint, ProjectWise, or similar systems is an added advantage.

Experience

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in document control is needed.
  • A minimum of 2 years should be specifically in an HSE document control role.
  • Prior exposure to Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or major EPC construction projects is mandatory.
  • Practical experience with EDMS tools such as Aconex, Documentum, ProjectWise, SharePoint, or comparable systems is required.
  • Background in handling HSE records such as training logs, incident documentation, risk assessments, PTW files, audit records, and inspection reports is expected.
  • Familiarity with ADNOC documentation requirements and submission workflows is highly desirable.
  • Experience producing and maintaining HSE KPI reports, dashboards, and statistical summaries is needed.
