Role overview
David Lewis is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for people using its adult residential services in Cheshire. This is a hands-on role where everyday details such as cleanliness, meals, and order have a direct impact on residents’ wellbeing. The position is based in Alderley Edge, England, United Kingdom and offers a salary of £25,447.50 for 37.5 hours per week.
What the role involves
- Keeping bedrooms, kitchens, shared spaces, and bathrooms clean and well maintained to a high standard.
- Taking care of laundry and other household duties so the service runs smoothly.
- Preparing straightforward, healthy meals and snacks while respecting individual dietary needs.
- Ensuring kitchen areas remain safe, tidy, and compliant with food hygiene expectations.
- Handling the ordering and control of household and catering consumables.
- Supporting a warm, welcoming atmosphere that helps people feel at home.
