Role overview

Iceland Foods is recruiting a Home Delivery Driver in Bodmin, England. This position is hourly paid at £13.71 and is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers while on the road.

The role is focused on delivering groceries to customers as a representative of the company, while helping ensure every order reaches the customer in good condition and on time.

What you will do

• Load the delivery van safely, including handling heavier items and following manual handling guidance.
• Drive with care and follow all safe driving standards.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and during use.
• Make sure customer orders arrive in excellent condition.
• Deliver friendly and professional service to customers.
• Support store operations when extra help is needed.
• Work on your own and organise your time effectively.
• Be available for rotating shifts that may fall anywhere between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Who should apply

Applicants need a full driving licence that has been held for at least 3 years and must have no more than 6 points. The ideal person will be upbeat, approachable, committed to good customer experiences, reliable with deadlines, and aware of road safety at all times.
