Job Overview

This role is for a Guest Relations Intern who is energetic, personable, and eager to gain practical exposure in the hospitality field. The position is designed to help the intern build customer service and guest relations skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Duties

• Welcome arriving guests and create a friendly first impression.
• Respond to guest questions, handle concerns, and resolve issues in a courteous and timely manner.
• Support the guest relations team with everyday front-office activities such as check-ins, check-outs, and reservation handling.
• Keep guest interaction and transaction records accurate and up to date.
• Help arrange guest experiences, activities, and special events.
• Contribute to a warm, professional atmosphere that strengthens the overall guest experience.
• Collect guest feedback and collaborate with the team on service improvements.

What We Are Looking For

• Enrollment in a Hospitality Management, Tourism, or similar academic program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A positive outlook, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks in a busy, fast-moving setting.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior customer service exposure will be an added advantage.

Workplace

The role is based at Alwadi Doha – MGallery Hotel Collection, a 5-star boutique hotel in Msheireb Downtown Doha. The property features 213 rooms and suites, a ballroom, five meeting rooms, multiple dining options, and an exclusive spa and swimming pool. It is positioned for both business and leisure travelers, around 15 minutes from Hamad International Airport and 10 minutes from West Bay.
