Opportunity
Join the Digital Te Au Reka team and play a part in evolving justice services across Aotearoa New Zealand. In this Functional Consultant role, you will collaborate with business partners, the judiciary, delivery teams, and vendors to design and configure digital solutions that create genuine value. You will contribute throughout the entire product lifecycle and help build a stronger link between Digital and the people who depend on these services.

- Convert business requirements into practical, well-suited solution designs
- Set up and support digital platforms and services
- Work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and delivery teams
- Prepare accurate documentation and maintain strong quality practices
- Promote ongoing improvement and share expertise with the wider team
Experience and skills

To succeed in this role, you should bring experience in business analysis or functional consulting, a strong ability to turn user needs into workable digital solutions, and hands-on exposure to configuring enterprise or SaaS platforms across the lifecycle. You will also need to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and vendors, and show an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how it applies in practice.

Salary
The salary range for this position is NZD 105,226 to NZD 135,540, depending on skills and experience.
