Role overview
SearchWorks is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer for a financial technology team based in Dublin, Ireland. This role is suited to someone who can contribute to large-scale enterprise applications, improve stability and performance, and help build modern cloud-based solutions.
The assignment is a contract running until March 2028. The working setup is hybrid, with three days required on site in Dublin.

- Java development using JDK 8, Tomcat, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Maven, Hibernate/JPA, REST, and SQL Server.
- Building and supporting RESTful services as well as JSON- and SOAP-based APIs.
- Working with SQL, multithreading, message queuing, and distributed system design.
- Applying design patterns in application development.
- Writing automated unit tests using JUnit or similar frameworks.
- Using monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk.
- Using Git and Jenkins in day-to-day development and delivery.
- Developing cloud-native solutions with platforms and services such as Cloud Foundry and AWS.
- Implementing front-end features with React, Redux, and TypeScript.
