Overview
Ren Ci Hospital is hiring an Executive for its Administration team in Novena, Singapore. This role focuses on strengthening clinical quality, patient safety, infection prevention and control, continuous improvement, and staff training support.
Clinical Quality and Patient Safety
- Lead and support initiatives that improve clinical quality and patient safety, including incident reviews, root cause analysis, serious reportable event documentation, mortality and morbidity review support, clinical safety audits, and walkabouts.
- Keep clinical quality and patient safety data accurate and up to date for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Draft, refresh, and maintain clinical guidelines, policies, and work instructions so they remain aligned with current best practices and healthcare regulations.
- Arrange and oversee audits, licensing checks such as MOH inspections, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
Quality Improvement
- Coordinate and run activities that support continuous improvement in clinical care and operational processes.
- Help plan and take part in quality improvement projects aimed at improving outcomes and delivering better value.
Infection Prevention and Control
- Organise and support infection prevention and control activities such as hand hygiene training, mask fitting, infectious disease surveillance, PPE reviews, and infection control audits.
- Assist with vaccination exercises for patients and residents, including maintaining accurate immunisation data for the organisation.
- Prepare and update IPC guidelines, policies, and work instructions to reflect current best practices and healthcare service requirements.
- Support the Infection Prevention and Control Committee and Outbreak Management Taskforce in handling infectious disease clusters and outbreaks.
Training and Education
- Develop and contribute to training programmes on clinical quality, patient safety, quality improvement, and infection control for internal and external participants, in coordination with Ren Ci Learning Academy.
