About the Role

This role is an Executive Assistant position supporting Ryan, one of the co-founders, in a high-trust and high-ownership capacity. You will help keep priorities organized, support decision-making through structure and follow-through, and ensure important work does not get missed.

The position is not a standard administrative assistant role. It offers close exposure to company strategy, direct interaction with senior leadership, and the chance to influence how an executive works day to day.

This is a full-time hybrid role in Toronto. Remote work is available, but in-office presence will be needed for key meetings, team gatherings, and collaborative working sessions.

Executive Partnership and Operations

  • Support Ryan as a dependable partner by managing a complex calendar, organizing priorities, and handling delegated tasks with confidence.
  • Monitor commitments and workload, raising concerns when priorities conflict or tradeoffs are needed.
  • Manage core EA responsibilities such as travel coordination, expense handling, meeting preparation, inbox review, and general administrative support.

Alignment and Follow-Through

  • Keep track of action items and major initiatives coming out of leadership meetings.
  • Help coordinate cross-functional work, maintain alignment across the right stakeholders, and move Ryan’s priorities forward without unnecessary escalation.

Process Improvement

  • Look for ways to simplify workflows, improve systems, and introduce better tools or processes.
  • Use technology, including AI, to improve speed and efficiency in both your own work and your executive’s workflow.

  • Comfort using AI tools to work faster and smarter.
