About the company
This opportunity supports a large enterprise analytics program for a Fortune 100 supply chain organization.
Role overview
The team is hiring three entry-level data analysts to contribute to operational reporting, business intelligence, KPI tracking, and data-led decision-making across several business areas. This position is well suited for someone who wants practical exposure to large enterprise datasets, SQL-driven analysis, dashboard creation, automated reporting, and analytics work that involves direct interaction with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Study structured business and operational data to uncover patterns, exceptions, key drivers, and areas for improvement.
- Create, update, and improve recurring reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards used by business and operations teams.
- Build and tune SQL queries for extraction, summarization, validation, and reporting needs.
- Carry out data profiling, quality checks, and reconciliation tasks to keep reporting reliable and consistent.
- Assist with root-cause investigations and one-off analysis requests using enterprise data sources.
- Help design and maintain reporting datasets and business metrics.
- Convert business needs into analytical outputs and reporting solutions.
- Work with cross-functional partners in Operations, Finance, Product, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Business Intelligence.
- Prepare documentation for data definitions, business rules, KPI formulas, and reporting methods.
- Support efforts to automate reporting and improve analytics processes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a similar analytical area; internships, research, and academic projects can be counted.
- Comfort with SQL, including joins, aggregations, subqueries, window functions, filtering, and transformation.
- Advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables, lookup functions, data validation, and analytical modeling.
- Solid understanding of data analysis approaches and structured problem-solving.
- Ability to make sense of complex data and explain insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy.
- Work authorization accepted: H4EAD, GC, GC-EAD, OPT/STEM OPT, and CPT.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to BI and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Familiarity with Python, Pandas, NumPy, or similar analytical tools.
- Knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and enterprise reporting environments.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality management, and KPI creation.
- Experience or exposure to cloud analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Background in operational analytics, supply chain analytics, manufacturing analytics, customer analytics, or business performance reporting.
Employment details
This is a full-time, onsite position. The engagement length is 18 to 24 months, with the possibility of extension.
