The role supports the development and maintenance of electrical and electronic solutions used across race, rally, and road programmes. Depending on business needs, the position may focus on new product development, legacy component support, or a mix of both.

- Prepare schematics and manufacturing drawings for harnesses and electrical components.
- Investigate electrical issues and resolve faults using a structured approach across both hardware and software.
- Write internal and customer-facing documentation that supports electrical installation work.
- Release parts and assembly structures into the bill of materials.
- Collaborate with other teams and customers to design and implement electrical components.
- Assist with onsite harness production and car build activities, including troubleshooting electrical and electronic problems.
What Prodrive is looking for
- A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in Motorsport, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems in automotive or motorsport environments.
- Working knowledge of communication networks such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Confident use of computers and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with Zuken E3 or a similar ECAD platform would be beneficial.
- The ability to work alone as well as within a team.
- Comfort working in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Willingness to travel and support vehicles during events or testing.
Benefits and rewards
- Competitive salary that increases with development and contribution.
- 25 days of annual leave, rising with service, plus the option to buy up to 15 additional days.
- Enhanced maternity and paternity pay.
- Training and professional development opportunities.
- Subsidised staff restaurant on site.
- Car and pension salary sacrifice arrangements.

- Exercise classes.
- Paid volunteering time.
- Access to Fit 4 Life consultations.
- Company social events throughout the year.
- Exclusive employee discounts.
