Role overview
The position is for a school driver based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The main aim of the job is to transport students safely and support school-related travel needs.
Key responsibilities
- Transport students securely and punctually for daily runs and school activities.
- Follow all relevant road safety rules and transport compliance standards.
- Help create, update, and follow transport-related policies and operating procedures.
- Track transportation performance and share updates on service metrics.
- Carry out routine checks and upkeep for school buses and other vehicles.
Skills needed
- Safe driving with strong attention to passenger safety.
- Knowledge of transport safety rules and best-practice procedures.
- Good communication for coordinating with school staff.
- Strong organization and route-management abilities.
Experience and qualifications
This role requires a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience driving buses, along with a valid driving licence and a spotless driving record.
