Role Overview

Taco Boy is looking for a dependable dishwasher to help keep the kitchen running smoothly and maintain a clean, sanitary back-of-house environment. In this role, you will handle plateware, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen items using a mechanical dishwasher and a three-compartment sink, with a strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and consistency.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with the team to make sure clean dishes are always available.
• Rinse dishes properly before placing them in the machine.
• Check items after washing, rinsing, and sanitizing to confirm they are fully clean and dry.
• Keep an eye on chemical levels and water temperature to support safe dishwashing practices.
• Remove trash and recycling to help keep the area tidy.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish area and floor space.
• Help break down, clean, and reset the kitchen at the end of shifts.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation is required.
• You should be able to remain on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Occasional lifting of heavy items is part of the job.
