About the Role
Finbar's Irish Pub in Bedford, Nova Scotia, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishwashing machines.
- Hand wash large items that cannot be cleaned by machines.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen and equipment surfaces.
- Unload and properly store dishes, glassware, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, mornings, days, and weekends.
- Must be available for on-call work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Must meet the language requirements for the position (English).
