Role Overview
This position is for a DevOps Engineer based in Singapore. The role centers on working with container orchestration technologies and observability platforms, with a strong emphasis on platform stability, integration, and troubleshooting.
Core Technical Scope
The job requires a strong grasp of container orchestration environments, especially Kubernetes-based distributions. You should be comfortable with cluster design, networking, operation in air-gapped environments, handling container images, and interpreting and writing YAML manifests. Relevant tools and technologies include Docker, Kubernetes, k3s, and containerd.
You will also work with Zabbix components such as servers, frontends, templates, and REST APIs. The role involves using standard monitoring and infrastructure protocols like SNMP, LLD, Redfish, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, and WinRM, along with integrating third-party systems such as Trellix ePO and Veeam BRS.
Responsibilities
The position includes supporting orchestration platforms, maintaining monitoring integrations, and investigating pipeline issues when data flows or alerts behave unexpectedly. You will be expected to troubleshoot infrastructure and application connectivity issues across the stack.
Required Knowledge
Applicants should bring practical familiarity with Kubernetes ecosystems, container runtime tools, and YAML-based configuration. Hands-on exposure to Zabbix administration and monitoring integrations is also important, along with the ability to diagnose issues across endpoints, servers, and connected systems.
