Role overview

This opportunity is with a long-established, privately owned developer, owner, and manager of Class-A+ multifamily communities. The business is financially strong and has delivered more than 40,000 homes, with over 15 projects currently in the pipeline across the Southeast and Texas as it continues to grow. The Development Analyst position is based in Charlotte, NC.

What the role involves

• Carry out financial review, budget oversight, and ongoing performance checks from the pre-development phase through lease-up, stabilization, and eventual asset disposition for multifamily projects.
• Develop and update financial models for both development and acquisition opportunities.
• Track project timelines, including target unit delivery dates and important milestone progress.

Candidate profile

The employer is seeking someone with around 1 to 2 years of experience in corporate finance or commercial real estate, though this is preferred rather than strictly required. A genuine interest in multifamily and/or commercial real estate development is important, along with strong communication ability and solid analytical thinking. A bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a similar discipline is expected; an MS or MBA is an added advantage.
