Role Overview
We are seeking an early-career Data Insights Analyst to join a full-time team in Australia. This role suits recent graduates and professionals at the start of their careers who are eager to work with data, spot meaningful patterns, and support better business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather data from different business systems, then clean, organize, and analyze it.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visual presentations that turn data into clear, useful insights.
- Look for trends, recurring patterns, and growth opportunities that can help the business perform better.
- Track key performance indicators and prepare routine performance summaries.
- Work with teams across the business to share data-based suggestions and recommendations.
- Maintain accuracy, reliability, and consistency in reporting data and systems.
- Record analytical methods, workflows, and reporting practices for reference and continuity.
Candidate Profile
This position is suitable for applicants with a bachelor’s degree completed or currently underway in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or another related discipline. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and good communication skills. A positive attitude, initiative, and a strong desire to learn are important for success in this role.
Required Tools and Knowledge
Applicants should be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and SQL. Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other business intelligence platforms will be considered an advantage. Basic experience with Python or R for data analysis is also beneficial.
