Role overview
Aaratech Inc. is hiring a Data Analyst to support insurance-focused analysis from its Los Angeles Metropolitan Area location. This position centers on working with policy, claims, underwriting, and risk information to help teams make better business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Examine data related to claims, policies, and underwriting within the insurance space.
- Create clear reports and dashboards for business use.
- Assist with analysis of risk and overall performance.
- Partner with operations and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
- Check and maintain the accuracy of data used in analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s qualification in business, data, or a similar discipline is needed.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis is required.
- Hands-on exposure to the insurance sector is expected.
- Applicants should have strong working knowledge of SQL and Excel.
Preferred background
- Familiarity with property and casualty (P&C) or life insurance is an advantage.
- Experience using business intelligence tools is preferred.
- Prior involvement in data reporting will be beneficial.
