Customer Support Specialist

Role overview

We are recruiting for a Haystack partner for a fully remote Customer Support Specialist position supporting a major data modernization initiative for a government client.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding flow, including user intake and exit processes.
• Keep checklists and operational documentation complete, current, and consistent across the process.
• Handle access administration by processing access requests and maintaining role-based access records.
• Assist audit activities by gathering supporting evidence and preparing the required documentation.
• Oversee Jira and Confluence usage by performing quality reviews and updating related documentation.
• Review user-facing materials and correct them to meet accessibility and Section 508 compliance standards.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in business analysis, project management, onboarding, or a comparable function.
• Strong capability in analysis, issue solving, and clear communication.
• Prior experience with configuration management.
• Working knowledge of project management platforms such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to obtain and keep a suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers a competitive salary of USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, along with a fully remote setup and the chance to grow professionally in a fast-moving technology environment.
