Role overview
A major technology client is looking for a practical, hands-on Creative Manager to join its social team in New York, NY. This position combines strategic thinking with execution, with a strong focus on producing engaging short-form social content for both developer and business audiences.
The work centers on turning technical ideas into simple, compelling social assets that are quick to consume and easy to understand.
What you'll do
- Produce and refine short-form social assets such as videos, captions, overlays, and screen-recording based content.
- Take raw footage and existing materials and turn them into polished, social-first creative.
- Help shape social content direction while also moving quickly on execution.
- Break down complex product capabilities into content that is clear and accessible.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and creative collaborators across Google.
- Contribute ideas for formats, content concepts, and workflow improvements.
- Deliver quick-turn content that is nimble and resourceful without compromising quality.
Experience and qualifications
- About 5 or more years of experience in content creation, social media, or creative production.
- Background working on a social media or content-focused team.
- Strong practical skills in video editing and content development.
- Comfort working independently to create content, not only guiding others.
- Ability to move fast, adapt to shifting priorities, and handle several deliverables at once.
Preferred background
- Exposure to tech, B2B, or developer-facing audiences is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools or Google Cloud tools would be beneficial.
- Motion design or animation skills are a nice addition.
- Experience in a startup or similarly fast-moving environment is preferred.
